Today we have a lot of news to share, but most importantly we are ready to show you the first photos of the actual Twilight Sword books and boxes!
But first things first...


>>> LOCKING ADDRESSES

You will soon receive a final notice email from Backerkit, that will ask you to check your address one last time before it gets locked.

>>>> If your address is correct, you don't need to do anything.

>>>> If your address has changed, you have 48 hours to update it before it gets locked

48 hours from now, all addresses will be locked and it will not be possible for you to change your address anymore. Once all orders are locked, we will send all the data to the shipping hubs so we can officially start the shipping process!

>>> PRODUCTION AND SHIPPING

In our previous update, we announced that shipping would start at the end of August. Since then, there have been some minor issues that MAY push the start of the shipping process to the beginning of September.

We expect all packages to arrive in your hands by the end of September/first half of October, depending on where you live!

As you know, production took a bit longer than expected. But now everything is just PERFECT, and we can't wait for you to see (and touch) the final products!







We appreciate your kindness and your patience with this little delay. You've all just been the best backers ever, and we will do our best to ensure a smooth delivery!

FINAL PDFs + Shipping Update!

This is going to be a looooong update, so please take your time and read through everything as we'll be sharing many useful information.


>>> FINAL PDFS


First of all, today we're sending out most of the digital rewards! Everything has been polished, fully illustrated, and has finally reached its final form

  • Core Rulebook [Final]: You already received this on your DrivethruRPG account, but please RE-DOWNLOAD IT as we've just upload the final version with MANY changes. Notably to Short Rest, Magic Items, Feats, Spells, and Monsters.

  • Lands of Radia [Final]: Same as the Core Rulebook

  • Starter Set [Final]: Same as the Core Rulebook

  • Card Chest [Final]: This is NEW. Check your emails because in the next hours you will receive a link to download these 300 CARDS directly from DrivethruRPG

  • GM Screen: This is also NEW, so check your emails!

  • PROMO Cards: Early Bird Cards and Reservation Cards are available for download directly from your BACKERKIT account. EVERYONE will receive these cards in digital format. Early Bird and Reservation backers will also receive them in physical format 

  • Champion Journal: Same as the PROMO

  • Auran Font: Same as the PROMO

>>> PRODUCTION AND SHIPPING


Unfortunately we had some trouble during the production process, so shipping will be slightly delayed.

Twilight Sword is a strange book with a custom ratio and it's something entirely different from what we've done in the past. After many attempt to getting it just right, ultimately we weren't happy with the final prototype and had to make the difficult decision to change factory.
This decision pushed us back of about 6-8 weeks, but it also allowed us to make the best Twilight Sword possible.

Currently we have a wonderful prototype in our hands, and we are extremely proud of how it came out. Now Twilight Sword is exactly how we envisioned it, and we're happy that we decided to take the time to start over with a different factory, rather than rushing it to deliver on time.
We understand that many of you will be unhappy with the delayed shipping, and for that we apologize sincerely, but we also trust that you will appreciate our decision one you have these marvelous books in your hands!

>>>>>> NEW ETA: The original plan was to SHIP by the end of June, given the current circumstances we are confident that we'll be able to start shipping at the end of August.
On a positive note, the books are already in production and many of the components are ready, so there should be no other issue going forward!

LANDS OF RADIA [BETA]

Raxa, the Pink Fairy, is here to bless you with the BETA version of Lands of Radia. Now, this is going to be a rather long update, so please sit back and enjoy the art show


>>> DOWNLOADING LANDS OF RADIA:

You will soon receive an email to download Lands of Radia PDF. The Italian and English language files are BOTH there, you just have to choose your preferred version (or download both versions).

If you don't receive an email right away: stay calm, it might take up to 24 hours for all emails to be sent. There's a lot of them. Also make sure that you have completed your survey on Backerkit, and  please check your Spam folders.
You can also log in to your DrivethruRPG account to download the files directly from there, without waiting for the email.

If you receive an email and the link doesn't work: try again. Refresh the page multiple times, or try to log in to DrivethruRPG before clinking on the email link. This usually solves the problem.


Still can't access your files? Please send us an email at [email protected] and allow us a week to answer you before writing again.


>>> WHAT'S MISSING FROM THE BETA?

The book is 99% ready, we are still checking for typos, making the final adjustment to Monster stats, and of course waiting for some additional art. Apart from that, the book is complete






>>> UPDATED STARTER SET AND CORE RULEBOOK

We have just updated the Core Rulebook and Starter Set. If you have already downloaded those, please download them again to make sure you have the updated version.
There are no notable changes apart from fixing typos and adding the final artworks







>>> EVEN MORE ART!

To make Lands of Radia EXTRA special, we've teamed up with Wild Blue Studios (League of Legends, Marvel Snap). These amazing artists have created dedicated landscape art for every region of Radia, from the Valley of Aramilla to the Fortress of Evil.


We're more than happy to announce this collaboration with Wild Blue Studios, and we're confident that their work will make it even more exiting for you to dive into this wonderful land. Leave your comments in the chat and spread some love for this amazing artists!

We're currently back on Backerkit with a project that is extremely dear to us: Broken Compass Legacy

This is a full remake of our first game, ported for our cinematic RPG Outgunned Adventure



The campaign was launched 4 days ago, and it's already approaching the 300k. During the last days we even managed to unlock additional Roles, such as the Librarian, and a faux-lather dice scroll.

UPDATED COREBOOK

We've also just updated the BETA Core Rulebook on drivethruRPG, so make sure you download it again to have the most recent version at hand 

Notable changes in the new version:
- Additional art
- Rule clarifications 
- Better balancing of some Monsters 
- More spells now either don't require a roll or have an "on a fail" effect
- NPCs can now take reactions
- Casting from legendary artifacts does NOT require a roll anymore
- Elemental damage from the Elemental feat now also applies to arcane missiles

The BETA PDF of the Core Rulebook is finally here. Soon you will start receiving emails to download it from DrivethruRPG !

You will notice that the BETA is pretty advanced. It still misses some of the art, and we're still checking for typos and balancing Monsters, but the rules are all there.

WHAT'S NEXT?

Currently we're wrapping up the STARTER SET, which should be ready in a couple of weeks. Soon after we'll go back to finishing LANDS OF RADIA, which will be released around the end of May.

Once the books are ready and typo-free, we'll send you all the Cards, Maps, Sheets, and the rest of the digital aids. We'll make another update next month to give you additional information about the soundtrack, the Alchemy Module, the Solo Mode, and the 3rd Party License.
